The award-winning Marvel Champions card game continues to see the release train roll on. Today, Fantasy Flight Games announced that the next hero in their release lineup will be Ironheart. This playable hero is unique in that she comes with three different identity cards! If you read her comics, you’ll know that she upgraded her suits over the run of the books. So during games of Marvel Champions, you’ll be adding progress counters to her. When you have enough, she can switch to a new and better version of her suit. Each upgrade lands her with improved stats, with the final being a strong 3/2/3 stat line. She also comes with a prebuilt leadership deck

This high-tech hero boosts into battle in this expansion pack, which introduces Ironheart as a new playable hero along with her fifteen signature cards. With a pre-built Leadership deck ready to play from the get-go, you’ll be able to face down villains with Ironheart’s arsenal of armors from the moment you open the box. With the unique ability to gradually and permanently “level up” her armor for the rest of the scenario, Ironheart is a fantastic hero who can put in serious work for any team.
This hero pack also includes a bonus modular set featuring the bizarre electromagnetic intelligence, Zzzax!
Ironheart is scheduled to be in stores in May. Fantasy Flight also slipped in the tidbit at the end that they are hoping to release two packs a month going forward as well (assuming supply chains hold up).
