2017 Board Game Award Winners

A couple of weeks ago we announced our nominees for our 5th Annual Board Game Awards. 2017 was a great year for tabletop gaming and we always enjoy taking one last look back at the year to recognize the best and most creative among them.

Today we are excited to announce the winners for our 2017 Board Game Awards. As usual, the voting was difficult and some categories were extremely tight. But our editorial staff (along with input from our readers) have made their selections. So without further ado, here are the winners of our 5th Annual Board Game Quest Awards. Congratulations to all the winners and nominees.

  1. When you say “Get Your Copy” for the 7th Continent, are you aware that it’s impossible to get this game and has been for years, if you missed the kickstarter…? If not, perhaps you should be since it’s, like, your job…?

    • Thanks for the comment Ian. We are fully aware that it’s not currently available. Hence why we linked to their website, instead of some place to buy it. There you can sign up on their website for news updates, since it will be available in the near future.

      • Just a quick clarifying comment for anyone who may be hoping to get a copy direct from Serious Poulp – they will only be selling very limited quantities as it’ll be surplus from the KS and there will not be a reprint or another KS. They said to look for available copies in April/May so now is the time to be looking.

      • If anyone was paying attention, they had the kickstarter recently for the sequel, and made the 1st 7th Cont available again, and i just got mine like a few weeks ago… ebayers are selling it for crazy prices if youre desperate, cuz it is a great game!!!
